“Though the fig tree does not bud and no fruit is on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though the sheep are cut off from the fold and no cattle are in the stalls, yet I will exult in the LORD; I will rejoice in the God of my salvation” Habakkuk 3:17,18

Abbotsford Anglican Church is a NSW Government registered COVID-Safe location (As at 8-Jul 2020)
Returning to church
We are very excited that from Sunday the 5th July we can return to meeting in the Church building. Everything has been done to ensure that it is safe to do so. Church will again meet at the normal time of 9:30am.
Who can come?
Everyone who is feeling well is welcome at Abbotsford Anglican.
As you can understand, at this time we have to ask that if you are not feeling well or show signs of a sore throat, cough or flu-like symptoms that you stay safe and please stay home to keep others safe as well.
You will be able to access the service on the Sermons page of the website by about lunch-time on Sunday.
What to bring?
Warm clothing Please come prepared with warm clothing as we will be leaving the doors open to support good airflow in the building.
Your own Bible We apologise, but at this time, we cannot provide you with a church Bible or other papers. All the words for the service and all the Bible readings will be on screen in church. You are very welcome to bring your own Bible.
What to expect when you come to church:
When you first arrive, we will need to register everyone who is at the service, so you will be asked for your name and contact details. These will only be retained, by the parish, for the required period (at this time, four weeks) and will not be used for any other purpose than, in the unlikely circumstance of allowing the relevant authorities knowledge of who was at the service.
An usher will then guide you straight into the main church building. Sanitizer is available and we will ask everyone to use it on their way into and out of the building. The usher will help you find a seat which has appropriate social distance from the other people already present.
As always, our church service is a time for us to hear the Bible read and taught, a time for prayer and a time to say aloud what we believe. Unfortunately we are not able to sing together and so songs will be sung which you can listen to, with the words available on the screen.
We will have an opportunity to catch-up and talk with people after the service, but again this will be with appropriate social distancing. At this time, no food or drink will be available during or after the service.
